Bimbo Manuel is an Actor and writer; he is a native of Lagos State in Nigeria. In 1985, Bimbo Manuel started his media career as a television broadcaster.

 In 1986, he made the switch to acting soon after. Well-known for Computer Girls (2003), Heroes & Zeros (2012), and Gone (2021).

 He was a nominee for the 2013 Nollywood Movies Awards’ Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Early Life And Education

 Bimbo Manuel born in Lagos, Nigeria, on October 30, 1958. It is possible that he grew up with his parents and siblings, but nothing is known about them but preferred to be called Mr and Mrs Bimbo. He later moved to Ibadan, where he briefly lived as a young man.

Although his “wild upbringing” has not been extensively discussed, we do know that he focused his energies on learning. He completed his university education after attending schools in the Western Region of Nigeria, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Port Harcourt. 

It is interesting to note that, because of his passion for music, his first career goal was to become a DJ rather than an actor. But destiny guided him towards television, and that is how his successful acting career came to be. 

Career

Bimbo Manuel Having earned a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, he started his broadcasting career in 1985 at Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC). After that, he relocated to Ogun State Television (OGTV). 

Bimbo Manuel began acting in 1986 and has starred in films such as Hopes of the Living Dead, and The Gods Are Not to Blame. Throughout his career, he has worked in several Nollywood movies. 

Bimbo Manuel is still working in the motion picture business. He has recently acted in films such as “Mr. Coker” and “Breath of Life” (both from 2023).
