Gideon Glick was born on June 6, 1988, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was raised by Michael Glick and Mrs. Glick, in a Jewish family by academic parents, including his father, Michael Glick, a dentist and researcher.
He grew up alongside his brother, John Glick. Glick attended Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy and Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
He has been completely deaf in his right ear since birth. Raised in a theater-loving family, he was completely obsessed with musical theater from a young age.
He frequently traveled to New York City to watch Broadway shows and was famously fixated on Into the Woods, which he rented constantly to perform at home.
