Mark Waschke was born on 10 March 1972 in Wattenscheid, Germany, as the middle of three sons.
His father, Mr. Waschke was a doctor and his mother, Mrs. Waschke was a nurse. In 1980, the family moved to Bildstock in Saarland, where Waschke became involved in children’s and amateur theatre.
