He appeared as Alex in the first series of The Office, starred in the prison drama Buried, and took leading roles in dramas such as Mobile.

Further television work includes regular roles in Eyes Down, Mount Pleasant (as Fergus), Hank Zipzer, Brassic, and Waterloo Road (as Neil Guthrie and Dave Dowling).
