Early Life and Education
Peter Browngardt was born on August 12, 1979, in Sag Harbor, New York, and was raised by Judy Browngardt and Robert Browngardt.
He grew up with four older brothers, including Carl Browngardt and Tom Browngardt, whose interest in filmmaking helped inspire his own fascination with animation.
Peter began making animated films at age 7. He graduated from Pierson Middle-High School in 1997 and later studied character animation at the California Institute of the Arts, earning a BFA.
Career
Peter Browngardt began his professional animation career in 2000, working as a character layout artist on Futurama.
