Growing up surrounded by paddy fields and streams deeply influenced his love for nature and literature. Although he did not pass his A‑levels and opted out of university studies, he joined his family’s hardware business. This diverse body of work also attracted international collaborations, such as The God King (with Ben Kingsley), biopics on Mother Teresa starring Geraldine Chaplin and Olivia Hussey, and appearances alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
