Early life and education
Samy Naceri was born on July 2, 1961, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. His father, Djilali Naceri, was an Algerian immigrant of Kabyle origin, while his mother, Jacqueline Naceri, was French and originally from Normandy.
He grew up in a modest family alongside six siblings, including his younger brother Larbi Naceri, better known as Bibi Naceri, who also became an actor and screenwriter.
