Early Life

Scott Evans is the son of dentist G. Robert Evans III and dancer Lisa Capuano, who later served as artistic director of the Concord Youth. He was born on September 21, 1983, and was reared in Sudbury, Massachusetts, United States. 

Shanna Evans, Carly Evans, and Chris Evans, an actor, are his older brother and sister.

Scott Evans attended New York University to study theater. He became gay at the age of 19. 

Career

On January 15, 2008, Scott Evans debuted as the show’s recurring Oliver Fish, a police officer. Later, in 2008, he made a brief guest appearance as Trey on Guiding Light. He also played Woody Sage in the Law and Order: Criminal Intent episode Betrayed on June 22 and Ben in the Fringe episode The Cure on October 21. 

Scott Evans appeared as Chad the Mail Clerk in the 2009 movie Confessions of a Shopaholic. He was initially hired by One Life to Live for five episodes, but he later appeared in a total of 137 episodes. Kyle Lewis and Oliver Fish‘s relationship started in July 2009 in the television series. 

The plot gained more notoriety when Patricia Mauceri, an actor who had been a regular on One Life to Live since 1995, was removed after allegedly objecting to her character’s participation in his plotline due to personal religious beliefs. 

In 2010, Scott Evans and Brett Claywell were fired, and the One Life to Live plotline was abandoned. He also played an American involved in a severe terrorist attack with al-Qaeda in a guest appearance on the AMC series Rubicon. 

Scott Evans portrayed Darren Hayes‘ love interest in the Let’s Try Being in Love music video in 2022.
