Early Life & Education

Dong Young-bae, better known as Taeyang, is aged 35 and was born on May 18, 1988, in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

He grew up in a middle-class family with his parents and his older brother Dong Hyun-bae, who is also an actor. He was interested in music from a young age and started playing the piano when he was six.
