Early Life And Education

 Adigwe, a native of Enugu, was born in the mid-1990s and spent a significant portion of his formative years in his hometown. However, he later moved to Austria to pursue his education at the primary and high school levels.

 Before venturing into the world of acting, Adigwe dedicated himself to the study of both French and German. In addition, he also gained experience as a teacher and even briefly pursued a degree in Medicine.

 Tragically, Adigwe’s father passed away, prompting him to return to Nigeria. Upon his return, he enrolled at the prestigious University of Ibadan, where he focused on Theatre Arts and ultimately achieved an outstanding first-class honors degree.

Career

 Adigwe’s first appearance on Nigerian television was in the popular show Basi and Company. He took on the role of Mr. B, replacing actor Albert Egbe, who had left the show due to a conflict with the creator, Ken Saro-WiwaAdigwe’s portrayal of Mr.B was unique, as he transformed the character into a laid-back musician who strummed his guitar and sang catchy songs about getting rich quickly.

 This change brought fresh energy to the show and led to Adigwe recording the new theme song for Basi and Company.

 His popularity soared even further with the release of his album “Mr. B Makes His Millions” in 1990, produced by Polygram Records.
