Nia Sharma, born on September 17, 1990, in Delhi, India, grew up under the care of her mother, Usha Sharma, after her father passed away during her childhood. 

Alongside her brother Vinay Sharma, Nia Sharma attended St. Xavier’s School in Delhi before enrolling at the Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) in Rohini to pursue a mass communication degree. 

Nia Sharma had nurtured a passion for journalism since her early years and aspired to become a journalist.

Career

In 2010, Nia Sharma embarked on her acting journey by joining the cast of the TV show Kaali: Ek Agnipariksha as Anu. She later portrayed Nisha Mehta in the channel’s ensemble drama Behenein.

However, her breakthrough came when she secured the lead role of Manvi Chaudhary in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Alongside Krystle D’Souza, Karan Tacker, and Kushal Tandon, Nia‘s character contributed to the show’s successful run from 2011 to 2013.
