Early experiences included uncredited appearances and support roles that allowed her to gain practical knowledge of film sets while remaining largely behind the scenes by choice.
As her career progressed, Rana expanded into makeup and hair departments for music videos and concert specials featuring artists such as Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, and Poison, while continuing location management contributions on projects including Space Cowboys and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
