Supriya Pathare was born at Sandhurst Road, Mumbai, at Umarkhadi. Her family did not have any performing experience. Since her school days, she has been quite involved in theatre. When she was in the seventh standard, she also created a script. 

Many amateur actors tried their luck in the play Tin Paishancha Tamasha, and she took advantage of the chance to hone her acting abilities with the assistance of her Guru, Waman Kendre. The Marathi actress playing Darling, Darling launched her career.

The first commercial play by Supriya Pathare was titled Darling, Darling. After appearing in numerous plays over sixteen years, Supriya has built a name for herself in the performing community. She has also demonstrated her comical talent by participating in the comedy reality series Fu Bai Fu. 

She has taken on various roles in Fu Bai Fu, including shady characters, adoring mothers, and comic stand-up performers. She won the competition with Bhalchandra Kadam in a single year. Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi, a Marathi television series, featured Supriya Pathare. 

She appeared in Pudhcha Paaul as Kanchanmala Randive or Kanchanmala Bai, as Akkasaheb called her, and is well known for this role. This played a sinister role. Supriya Pathare alleged that she was held “captive” for three months by a producer in Rajasthan while a movie was being made and that Bal Thackeray, the late Shiv Sena leader, saved her.
