Aaron Spelling and Candy Spelling gave birth to Tori Spelling on May 16, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States. Aaron Spelling was a well-known Hollywood producer who worked on several well-liked films and TV shows, including Charlie’s Angels, Dynasty, and Fantasy Island.

Her grandparents are Augusta Gene, Merritt Marer, Pearl Spelling, and David Spelling. She has a brother named Randy Spelling, who happens to be a lifestyle guru.

Tori Spelling started taking acting classes when she was six. She then had offers to play supporting roles in films and television shows like The Love Boat, T. J. Hooker, Hotel, Fantasy Island, Vegas, and Saved by the Bell.

She attended Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California, before transferring to Harvard-Westlake School, where she eventually received her diploma in 1991.


Tori Spelling received the part of Donna Martin in the 1990 television series Beverly Hills, 90210, which her father also co-produced. On July 3, 2004, Tori Spelling was married for the first time to playwright and actor Charlie Shanian. April 20, 2006, saw the divorce of the couple. She wed the actor Dean McDermott on May 7, 2006, following his 12-year marriage to Mary Jo Eustace and their divorce. 

On May 8, 2010, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott rekindled their vows. There are five kids in the family. She has five children; Liam Aaron McDermott, Stella Doreen McDermott, Finn Davey McDermott, and Beau Dean McDermott.
