Early Life And Education

Park Chan-yeol was born on November 27, 1992, in Yeokchon-dong, Eunpyeong District, Seoul, South Korea. He is the younger child of Park Sung-jin and Lee Young-mi and has an older sister, Park Yoo-ra, a former announcer at YTN and MBC.

Chanyeol attended Hyundai High School in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, and later enrolled in a private acting institution at the age of sixteen.
