Easy Life, originating from Leicester, England, was founded in 2017 by Murray Matravers, Sam Hewitt, Oliver Cassidy, Lewis Berry, and Jordan Birtles. Their inaugural single, Pockets, debuted in November 2017, followed by their first mixtape, Creature Habits, released in April 2018.

The momentum continued into 2020 as Easy Life released their debut album, Life’s a Beach, which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart.
