Kelly Khumalo, at 39 years old and a mother to Christian and Thingo, was previously in a tumultuous relationship with Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye from 2009 to 2011. During this period, Khumalo accused him of domestic violence. Jub Jub is the biological father of Christian Maarohanye, while Thingo Meyiwa‘s late father is Senzo Meyiwa. In an alleged robbery at Khumalo‘s Vosloorus home on October 26, 2014, Senzo Meyiwa was tragically shot and killed.

The relationship between Khumalo and Jub Jub ended on a sour note, marked by accusations of abuse, and it was reported to be tumultuous. Kelly Khumalo has three children, Christian Maarohanye (with Jub Jub) and Thingo Meyiwa (with the late Senzo Meyiwa), and she also dated Chad Da Don.
