Tony Yayo was born on 31 March 1978 in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard. He was the youngest of three children and grew up in Queens, where he became close friends with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Christopher “Lloyd Banks” Lloyd.

Tony Yayo released his debut studio album, Thoughts of a Predicate Felon, on 30 August 2005 through G-Unit Records and Interscope Records. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and produced songs including “So Seductive,” “Curious,” and “I Know You Don’t Love Me.”
He subsequently contributed to G-Unit’s T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight) and released numerous mixtapes and singles, including El Chapo 2, The Loyal and 134 Tape. His later releases have included The 4:20 Tape in 2026.
