He was served as a metro police constable in Durban and he quit his job as a police constable to join the construction business owned by his wife.

Sbu Mpisane was born on the 18th of June in 1971 in the popular city, Durban situated in South Africa.

Little is known about his upbringing but he was raised in a humble household by his parents. He became one of the most sought-after entrepreneurs after investing in several businesses.

Career

Sbu Mpisane started out his career when he joined the police academy in the mid-90s. After graduation, he became a police constable till he retired to join his wife’s business in the construction industry. As a police constable, he received a salary of $15,000.

He is one of the top businessmen in South Africa, along with his business career, the industrious figure is the chairman of a South African football club Royal Eagles F. C.

The club is based in Maritzburg in South Africa and has played in the South African national first division which is the highest level since 2019.

Sbu Mpisane is currently divorced with two children although there are claims by his first son, Andile Mpisane that he has more children as a result of his extra-marital affairs.

He met his ex-wife Shauwn ‘Mpisane’ Mkhize in 1991 and they were married for over 20 years till their separation in 2018. Shauwn ‘Mpisane’ Mkhize is the daughter of the late Florence Mkhize who was one of the leading members of the African National Congress and anti-apartheid activist. She is from Kwazulu-Natal and met Sbu Mpisane at a party.

Before their divorce, they were regarded as South Africa’s power couple and they were blessed with two children Andile Mpisane and Sbahle Mpisane. Their divorce proceedings were not a smooth one with his wife stepping down as the co-founder of the Royal Eagles Football club, a lot of divisions had to be made as a result of the separation.

His ex-wife stated that he loved himself and she loved him and lost sight of herself and that she is ready to find herself. Andile Mpisane, his first son made a scathing remark about his father on his Instagram page after the divorce.
