Early Life & Education

Gogo Dineo was born on the 10th day of June in the year 1981. She was born and raised in Alexandria, South Africa. The life coach grew up under the care of her grandparents.

Gogo Dineo‘s grandfather trained her to live a righteous and Christian like life. But sooner than expected, things became a waste of time for her. According to her, she was summoned by some ancestral spirits.

According to Gogo Dineo, she was taken to a mental facility for six months, where she was diagnosed with an ailment called temporal lobe epilepsy. She also narrated that anytime music was performed in church, her voice would be changed instantly, and she would be sent into a trance.

At this point, her family was struggling and feeling uneasy because they didn’t understand what was going on.

During her childhood, Gogo Dineo was awarded a scholarship to an American International School named Bryanston. There is no information regarding her tertiary education at the moment.

Personal Life

After Gogo Dineo first realizes her powers, it seems so untrue to her. Years later, she began to accept and understand her healing skills. During her childhood, she was able to do things that other kids couldn’t, like palm reading for her friends.

She began to accept her gift at the age of 29. She spent ten good months in the initiation schools of Sangomas, doing everything she could to maintain her healing skills.

Gogo Dineo used to be happily married; she got married to a yet to be identified man in 2005 at the age of 21, but things fell apart in her marriage. In December 2019, the media widely reported that Gogo Dineo was going through a divorce. After a decade and four years of marriage, she and her husband ended the marital relationship.

Gogo Dineo revealed that during her quest to become a sangoma, she never compelled anyone to do anything their ancestors did not agree with.

According to her, she said, “At my institute, I’ve never asked anyone to thwasa. When it comes to that, I’m pretty strict.

Before you become one of my spiritual children, you must have dreamed of me or my home more than once.”She also claimed that she did things differently from other gobelas. “If the ancestors refer someone to me, I will take them in for two weeks to show them what other thwasas do daily and make sure this is something they’d be willing to take on.
