Ginimbi was born in the busy township of Domboshava on October 10, 1984. Anderson Kadungure ‘s parents raised him in a household of four. He recently lost his mother and one sibling in horrible accidents. He was raised by his only remaining sister, Nelia Kadungure.

It was stated that Ginimbi’s wife was Zodwa Mkandla. However, no concrete evidence supports the claim that the two were legally married.
