Born on September 12, 1960, in the lively city of Lagos, Nigeria, Bimbo Odukoya‘s original name was Abimbola Rosemary Segun-Williams. Subsequently, in 1992, Odukoya, in collaboration with her husband Taiwo Odukoya, established The Fountain of Life Church. She served as an assistant senior pastor for most of her life and continued in this role until her untimely demise in 2005.

Bimbo Odukoya entered into holy matrimony with Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the esteemed founder of the Fountain of Life Church. Together, they were blessed with a beautiful family comprising three children: Tolu Odukoya, Jimmy Odukoya (who also serves as a pastor), and Tobi Odukoya.

On the tragic day of December 11, 2005, Bimbo Odukoya‘s life was cut short in a devastating plane crash that occurred in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. At the young age of 45, she was taken away from her loved ones far too soon. 

This sudden and heartbreaking event left a void not only in her family’s hearts but also in the lives of her friends and the church community she was an integral part of.
