In 1975, he was formally charged in connection with child molestation involving another young girl, and he was separately known in his neighborhood as a peeping tom who stalked and watched young women at night.
His conduct, largely concealed from outsiders for years, later became a documented part of the disturbed household in which Paul Bernardo was raised.
