Early Life

Apostle Joshua Selman as he is fondly called was born on the 25th of June, 1980 in the city of Jos, Plateau State.

Education

He completed his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate in Jos.

Thereafter he attended the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for his higher education.

He bagged a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University.

Career

Apostle Joshua got born again from an early age during Sunday School. Since then, he has been waxing strong in the Lord.

Growing up, he would always spend time praying while his friends played.

He received the baptism of the Holy Spirit after a minister of God came to his secondary school to preach.

His ministerial work began while in the university. He started preaching God‘s word, sharing the gospel with fellow undergraduates.

Around this time, he had a vision where he saw thousands of people crying profusely because they were hungry and thirsty. And in the vision, he seemed to have the solution to their problems.

This divine encounter made him realize that God was calling him into full-time ministerial work. And that his purpose in life was to feed people with God’s word.

Another time, he had an encounter where he saw Jesus Christ in a vision. The Lord Jesus stretched his hand at him and instantly a great beam of light fell upon him.

After this encounter, he began to have more understanding of God’s word (The Bible).

In 2011, his ministry organized a program called Koinonia. Koinonia is the Greek word for Christian Fellowship. Since then, they have been organizing the program yearly and several attendees have testified to being blessed and experiencing miracles.

His mentors in the ministry are the likes of Pastor E.A Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Reinhard Bonnke, Benny Hinn, and many others.

On the 25th of June, 2020, Apostle Selman clocked 43 years of age and he was celebrated globally by all his members and those who had been blessed by his teachings.

He has never been married. He is currently engaged to a Miss Sandra Areh and their marriage is scheduled for December 2020 or early 2021.
