In pursuit of knowledge and personal growth, Palmer enrolled at the University of Queensland in 1973 and began studying law, journalism, and politics.

As a parliamentarian, Palmer threw himself into representing his constituents until he called it quits in 2016.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Palmer. His business dealings have come under fire, with many questioning the ethics behind his decisions. And let’s not forget the political controversies his views have stirred up, earning him his fair share of criticism. His personal life hasn’t been spared, with gossip and scandals adding to the drama.

Despite his business accomplishments and efforts to boost the Aussie economy, Clive Palmer remains a divisive figure thanks to his questionable business tactics, controversial political beliefs, and eyebrow-raising personal choices.

Come 2016, Palmer decided to bow out of the House of Representatives race, citing a desire to shift focus to his business ventures and charitable endeavors.

So, Clive Palmer‘s a mixed bag. While he’s got some wins under his belt and has given a boost to the economy, his political journey has been anything but smooth, with plenty of bumps along the way.
