Early Life & Education

Born on October 17, 1985, in Tamil Nadu, India, Puratchi Thalaivar, also known as Junior MGR Ramachandran, is the grandson of popular Tamil actor and politician M.G. Ramachandran. He was named after him. His father and mother’s identity is unknown as he is claimed to have been adopted.

After moving to Chennai with his parents at the age of three years old, he grew up in the city with his brother and sister. Junior MGR Ramachandran graduated from Loyola College, Chennai, with a degree in commerce.
