Kuppusamy Annamalai (born 4th June 1984), also known as K. Annamalai IPS, is a political leader and the state president of the Bharatiya Janata political party in Tamil Nadu.

He was nominated as the head of the Bharatiya Janata political party in Tamil Nadu by the party’s national president, J. P. Nadda, after joining the party in August 2020.

K. Annamalai IPS is also a reputable Indian police officer, and he had his first posting as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) with Karnataka police in the year 2013.

Later on, he took over as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Udupi in Chikmagalur.

He later got transferred to the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka and continued as an SP till October 2018. Years later, he got promoted as a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru south, in 2018.
