Tatiana Anatolyevna Sakharova began her political career in Severomorsk. From 2015 she served as a deputy of the Severomorsk city council and later as Deputy Chairman of the Council of Deputies. In December 2019 she was appointed head of the regional branch of the United Russia party in Murmansk Oblast.
On October 7, 2021, she became a member of the Federation Council representing the Murmansk Oblast Duma, succeeding Tatiana Kusayko. She served as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management.
She was involved in regional development issues and international cooperation. She passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 51 due to cancer.
