Early Life and Education

On April 24, 1964, Umo Bassey Eno was born and raised in Akwa Ibom State, where he completed his elementary and secondary education.

His doctorate is being pursued at the University of Uyo, where he also holds a master’s degree in public administration.

Pastor Umo Eno attended the National Productivity Award (FNCHI) and graduated from the Lagos Business School (LBS) of Pan-African University.

Umo Eno, a successful businessman and forward-thinking Christian leader, founded The Royalty Group in 1997, specialising in manufacturing, the oil and gas industry, information and communication technology (ICT), and hospitality.

He is a politician but also serves as a pastor and the general overseer of All Nations Christian Ministry International. This church seeks to unite all Christians, regardless of racial background or ethnicity.

Career

Pastor Eno began working for the Union Bank of Nigeria in 1982. He was employed with Bertola Machine Tools from 1985 till 1990.

From 1990 until 1997, the minister worked for Norman Holdings Limited as group general manager (GGM) of commercial services before leaving to start Royalty Hotels and Recreations Limited.

Umo Eno held several posts between 2004 and 2007, including the Akwa Ibom Hotels and Tourism Board chairman.

He also belongs to the Paul Haris Fellows program of the Rotary Club of Eket District 9140. In Akwa Ibom State, he is the commissioner for lands and water resources.
