Sohail Sen was born on June 24, 1984, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is the son of Sameer Sen, one half of the celebrated Bollywood composer duo Dilip Sen–Sameer Sen, and was raised in a family with a rich musical heritage spanning four generations.
