Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 14th September 2026
The unofficial naira-to-dollar market opened Monday with street dealers in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt quoting a sell rate of about ₦1,395 to ₦1,410 for one US dollar, while they were buying the greenback from customers at roughly ₦1,380 to ₦1,385.
The figures represent a modest firming of the dollar against the naira on the parallel market compared with late last week, when many traders had been offering the currency closer to ₦1,390.

Official Central Bank of Nigeria data placed the naira at ₦1,326.52 per dollar in the regulated window, leaving a gap of roughly ₦60 to ₦80 between the two markets. Traders attributed the movement to weekend demand from importers and travellers as well as the usual Monday liquidity crunch that often appears after the official market has been closed.
Bureau de Change operators and informal dealers continued to report that actual rates still depend on location, the size of the transaction and how quickly cash can be delivered.
Market watchers said they will be watching oil-related inflows and any further CBN intervention this week to see whether the unofficial rate remains in the current range or edges higher again.
