Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 19th September 2026
The unofficial naira-to-dollar market opened Saturday, 19 September 2026, with street traders in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt quoting the dollar at ₦1,390 for buyers and ₦1,375 for sellers, according to parallel-market trackers. That leaves a ₦15 spread and keeps the black-market price roughly 4.3 percent above the Central Bank of Nigeria’s latest official figure of about ₦1,330.
A hundred dollars therefore cost about ₦139,000 on the street, while someone selling the same amount received ₦137,500. The gap between the two windows has been a familiar feature of Nigeria’s foreign-exchange landscape, and Saturday’s quotes showed little movement from the levels seen late on Friday.

Official-market data from the previous session had the naira closing near ₦1,331 after a modest rebound that ended three days of weakness, while reserves were reported around $54.7 billion. Demand for cash dollars among importers, travellers and households continues to set the tone on the parallel market, where rates can differ slightly from one city or dealer to the next.
Licensed bureau-de-change operators and peer-to-peer platforms often sit between the official window and the street price, but many Nigerians still turn to Aboki traders for speed and availability.
Market watchers will be looking at weekend oil receipts, CBN intervention and any fresh policy signals when trading resumes next week, as those factors have repeatedly determined whether the naira steadies or slips further against the dollar.
