Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 26th July 2026
The Nigerian naira held steady in the parallel market popularly known as the Aboki rate on Sunday, 26th July 2026, with currency traders quoting the United States dollar at ₦1,405 for buying and ₦1,415 for selling across major centres including Lagos, Abuja and Kano.
Dealers reported moderate activity as the weekend limited large-scale transactions, though demand from travellers, importers and individuals settling overseas obligations kept the street rate firm. The spread between the buy and sell quotes remained narrow at about ₦10, reflecting relatively balanced supply and demand conditions in the informal segment.

In the official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, the naira continued to trade near ₦1,362 per dollar according to the latest Central Bank of Nigeria reference figures from the previous session, leaving a modest premium of roughly three percent in the parallel market.
Market participants attributed the current stability to improved foreign-exchange liquidity from oil revenues, diaspora remittances and earlier Central Bank interventions that have helped narrow the gap between the two rates in recent weeks.
Analysts noted that while dollar availability on the street was described as adequate, any sudden rise in import demand or seasonal pressures such as school-fee payments could still influence quotes in the days ahead.
For now, the Aboki naira-to-dollar black-market exchange rate stands at ₦1,405 buy and ₦1,415 sell as of 26th July 2026, providing a practical benchmark for those conducting transactions outside the formal banking system.
