Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 27th July 2026
The Nigerian naira traded at ₦1,405 to the dollar for buying and ₦1,415 for selling in the parallel market popularly tracked as the Aboki rate on Monday, 27 July 2026, according to quotes from Bureau de Change operators in major cities including Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt.
This left a modest spread of ₦10 between the two sides of the transaction as demand from importers, travellers and individuals meeting overseas obligations remained steady. At the same time, dollar availability on the street stayed sufficient to prevent sharp swings.

The parallel market premium over the official window held around 3.7 percent, with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market rate recorded near ₦1,362 per dollar. Market participants noted that the gap has stayed relatively contained in recent sessions thanks to improved liquidity in the formal system and consistent remittance inflows.
However, street-level rates continue to reflect the convenience and speed preferred for smaller or urgent deals. Activity across key commercial centres opened the new trading week on a firm note without the volatility seen in earlier periods, as dealers reported orderly transactions driven by routine business restocking and seasonal payments rather than speculative pressure.
Observers monitoring forex flows pointed to ongoing support from oil-related earnings and diaspora transfers as factors helping to keep the informal market balanced, while cautioning that any sudden rise in import demand or shifts in global conditions could still influence quotes in the days ahead.
Rates can vary slightly by location and transaction size, and traders advised checking with operators for the latest available figures before exchanging currency.
