Diddy’s Ex Cassie Alleges Rape and Decade-Long Physical Abuse in Lawsuit
Cassie, the former girlfriend of renowned American rapper and music executive Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, has come forward with serious accusations. In a lawsuit filed in the Federal District Court in Manhattan, Cassie accuses Diddy of rape and sustained physical abuse over nearly a decade.
The singer, who was previously signed to Diddy’s record label, alleges that the rapper subjected her to a harrowing ordeal, including plying her with drugs, physical assault, and coercing her into engaging in sexual activities with multiple male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters.
The suit further claims that in 2018, toward the end of their relationship, Diddy forcibly entered her home and raped her.
Diddy‘s legal representative, Ben Brafman, vehemently denied the allegations, stating, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.” Brafman disclosed that Cassie had previously sought $30 million from Diddy, seemingly as a bribe to prevent her from writing a book about their relationship. This demand was reportedly rejected as “blatant blackmail.”
Despite Cassie withdrawing her initial threat, Brafman asserts that she has now resorted to filing a lawsuit containing what he describes as “baseless and outrageous lies,” aiming to tarnish Diddy‘s reputation and seeking financial compensation.
The serious nature of the accusations and the ensuing legal battle have captivated public attention, shedding light on the complexities of power dynamics in high-profile relationships within the entertainment industry. As the case unfolds, it is anticipated that further details will emerge, offering insight into the truth behind these deeply troubling allegations.
