WWE’s Jade Cargill Raises WrestleMania Worries After Royal Rumble Debut

Former AEW sensation, Jade Cargill, made a splash in her WWE in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble, but backstage reports suggest concerns about her readiness for a WrestleMania spotlight.

The 31-year-old wrestler had been the talk of the town since her arrival on the WWE scene during the Fastlane pre-show. Despite her impactful presence at the event, Cargill‘s actual wrestling debut was saved for the Royal Rumble.

Once a prominent figure in AEW, Cargill took the leap to WWE, teasing fans with potential dream matches. The Royal Rumble showed her abilities as she entered the women’s Royal Rumble match as the 28th participant.

While she showcased her skills and reached the final three, concerns emerged during Wrestling Observer Radio discussions. Bryan Alvarez revealed backstage chatter, stating, “I was told that she has difficulty remembering a lot of stuff. And so she needs to get out there and start doing a bunch of matches with veteran WWE women on the road. Get her ready. If she’s going to make her big WrestleMania debut.”

Despite these concerns, Cargill‘s Royal Rumble appearance featured standout moments, including a fierce confrontation with Nia Jax and a crowd-pleasing face-off with Bianca Belair. Cargill also eliminated Naomi before being ousted herself.
