Josh Meyers was born on 8 January 1976 in Bedford, New Hampshire, to Hillary Meyers, a French teacher, and Lawrence Meyers, who worked in finance.
He is the younger brother of comedian and television host Seth Meyers.
He attended Manchester High School West and later graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
After college he moved to Amsterdam to perform with the improvisational comedy troupe Boom Chicago.
He is of American origin, and his religion is Christianity.
Career
Josh Meyers began his professional comedy career with Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, where he wrote and performed alongside future stars including Jason Sudeikis and Jordan Peele, as well as his brother Seth.
He joined the cast of Fox’s MADtv in 2002 as a featured performer, becoming known for celebrity impressions such as Owen Wilson, Matthew McConaughey, and Eminem, and for contributing sketches during his two seasons on the show.
In 2005 he was cast as Randy Pearson for the eighth and final season of That ’70s Show, stepping in after Topher Grace’s departure.
