Early Life

Logan Alexander Paul was born on April 1, 1995, in Westlake, Ohio. He has a younger brother, Jake Paul, who is also a social media star.

He started making videos for YouTube when he was 10 years old using a channel he launched called Zoosh. He was an All-Star linebacker for the Westlake High School football team in 2012.

He was also a State Champion wrestler in high school and went on to study engineering at Ohio University.

Between 2013 and 2014, he went from 900 followers on various social platforms to over 1.5 million.

He was especially popular on the social platform Vine. He dropped out of college at Ohio University in 2014 to move to Los Angeles.

Education

Logan Paul received his elementary and secondary education at Westlake  High School. He continued his education by attending the University of Ohio on a full scholarship to study Engineering, which he did not complete. 

He left school and relocated to Los Angeles. He continued his informal education by learning more about content development,  video creation, and internet marketing.

Logan Paul became well-known as a member of the Vine video-sharing website. He had over 3.1 million followers on various social media networks in February 2014. By April 2014, he had amassed over 105,000 Twitter followers, over 361,000 Instagram followers, over 31,000 Facebook likes, and around over 150,000 YouTube subscribers.

The first week after he posted it, a YouTube compilation video of his Vine work received over four million views. He was named the 10th most influential figure on Vine in 2015, and his six-second films brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising income.

Logan Paul‘s Facebook videos alone garnered over 300 million views by October of that year.

As a boxer

After Logan Paul‘s white-collar amateur boxing match with Joe Weller on February 3, 2018, British YouTuber KSI challenged him to a boxing match.

On February 24, 2018, the media revealed that Logan Paul and his brother would be competing in two white-collar boxing contests against KSI and his younger brother, Deji Olatunji. The fight finished in a majority draw, with two judges scoring it 57–57 in favor of KSI and a third judge scoring 58–57 in KSI‘s favor.

Logan Paul will make his professional boxing debut in a rematch against KSI on September 4, 2019, which will be broadcast exclusively on DAZN in the United States. The bout took place at the Staples Center on November 9th.

Logan Paul sparked more controversy at the UK news conference for the rematch when he accused KSI of having five abortions before adding, “Five babies dead.” I may repay the kindness by murdering you.” He was chastised by abortion rights campaigners, who called his comment “horrific,” while anti-abortion groups defended him. “I said something nasty and disrespectful,” Paul responded.

The rematch, which lasted six three-minute rounds, ended in a split decision victory for KSI, with two judges scoring the fight 57–54 and 56–55 in KSI‘s favor and one scoring 56–55 in Logan Paul‘s favor.

Personal Life

Logan Paul with his housemates Mark Dohner and Evan Eckenrode lived in a Hollywood apartment complex alongside other social media personalities like Juanpa Zurita, Amanda Cerny, and Andrew Bachelor in the fall of 2015. 

Because they were so close,  the gang worked together on videos for each of their channels.

In the fall of 2017, Paul relocated to an estate in Encino.

In July 2018, Logan Paul and actress Chloe Bennet revealed their relationship. Before publicly announcing their relationship, they had been dating for a year. In September of that year, they called it quits.
