Sandy Master was born on July 5, 1986, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Born to S. Anbuselvan, A. Thilagavathy, he developed an interest in dancing from childhood and participated in dance competitions during his school and college years.

Career
Sandy Master started his professional choreography career in 2005 on the Kalaignar TV dance reality programme Maanada Mayilada. Under the guidance of dance choreographer Kala Master, he choreographed a team featuring Jeyashree and Sathish Krishnan during the first season, and their victory gave him an early professional breakthrough.
Sandy Master also became a television personality and judge, serving on dance programmes including Kings of Dance and Jodi Are U Ready. In 2019, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil 3 as a contestant and finished as the first runner-up behind Mugen Rao.
