Will Arnett, a talented Canadian actor, was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on May 4, 1970. He is the son of corporate lawyer Edith Alexandra Palk and brewer Emerson James Arnett. His parents are from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and he has many generations of family roots in Manitoba on both sides of his family. 

Will Arnett is the eldest of three children; he has two older sisters, Tannis Arnett and Shanly Arnett, and a younger brother, Charles Arnett.

He attended Concordia University in Montreal for one semester before leaving. Will Arnett finally moved to New York and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
