Ayame Misaki was born on April 26, 1989, in Kobe, Hyogo, He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tsuzaki. She is Japanese and the fourth of five sisters, growing up alongside four siblings.
When she was just five years old, her family was severely affected by the Great Hanshin Earthquake.
They lost their home and were forced to live in a public evacuation shelter for an entire year.
She attended and completed her secondary school education in Kobe. She did not pursue higher academic education, such as university degrees or formal drama school acting programs.
Instead, her “higher education” became the industry itself. At age 15, she won the prestigious 29th Horipro Tarento Scout Caravan talent competition in 2004, which immediately launched her professional modeling and television career right after high school.

She initially worked as a gravure model and television personality before moving into acting.
Her acting debut came in the 2006 television drama Kisshō Tennyo, followed by the prominent role of Miki Saotome in Cutie Honey: The Live.
She became particularly visible through tokusatsu productions, portraying Escape in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and related films. Her later film credits include Attack on Titan, Attack on Titan: End of the World, KIRI – Profession: Assassin, HK: Hentai Kamen 2 – Abnormal Crisis, and Naomi Kawase‘s Radiance, which competed at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
