Early Life

Chinonso Young Umesiobi was born into a loving family on December 8, 1987.

She is an Igbo by the tribe. She hails from one of the states in the Southern region of Nigeria.

She is beautiful, talented and creative, having carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian movie industry.

Career

Chinonso Young began her first acting job in the year 2007, a stage production titled “A Voice For Ella“, where she played the role of a wicked step-sister. The movie was produced by Isioma Onochie Aihie and directed by Solomon Macaulay.

She has featured in a good number of Tv series like “My Mum and I“, where she played the character of Nkoyo, did Tinsel, a soap for MNET Africa and played a crazy and delusional character Ngozi.

She also did a short film titled “Line Up“, where she portrayed the character of Fola, a woman pimp who trafficked young boys.

Chinonso Young is a very creative, skilful and talented young actress who reasonably interprets roles in movies. She is the type that creates thoughts and emotions of character to make acting real and believable.

Chinonso Young further said that to keep fit physically and mentally, she does take lots of nutritious food, water, and exercise. She stays away from negative energy, and she reads to keep learning.
