Early life and education

 Madonna came into this world on August 16, 1958, in Bay City, Michigan. Raised in a devout Catholic household, she was born to parents Madonna Louise and Silvio Anthony “Tony” Ciccone.

Madonna’s heritage was a blend of Italian and French-Canadian roots, as her father’s parents hailed from Pacentro, Italy, while her mother had French-Canadian ancestry.
