Roma Gąsiorowska was born on November 18, 1981, in Bydgoszcz, Poland, to parents referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Gąsiorowski.
Her mother died of cancer when Roma was eighteen, and her father left the family when she was a young child. She has one sister, Monika Gąsiorowska.
She attended I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bydgoszcz, where she became interested in acting and co-founded an amateur theatre group with friends.
She was accepted into the PWST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków on her second attempt, graduating in 2005.

Career
Roma Gąsiorowska began her acting journey during her high school years in Bydgoszcz, where she co-founded an amateur theatre group.
While studying at the PWST in Kraków, she made her screen debut in 2003 with a supporting role in Jerzy Stuhr‘s Pogoda na jutro.
In 2004, she began collaborating with TR Warszawa theatre as part of the “Teren Warszawa” project and was one of only two actresses offered a permanent position.
Her diploma performance in Zimne dziecko (Cold Child) earned her the Young Actor Award at the 45th Kalisz Theatre Meetings in 2005.
Gąsiorowska‘s breakthrough came in 2011 with two major film roles.
She portrayed Sylwia in Sala samobójców (Suicide Room), a performance that earned her a nomination for the Polish Film Award “Orzeł” for Best Supporting Actress.
That same year, she starred as Kinga in Ki, for which she won the Golden Lion Award for Best Actress at the Gdynia Film Festival and the Złota Kaczka Award.
She also received a nomination for the Zbigniew Cybulski Award in 2009.
Over the following years, she appeared in numerous notable productions including Listy do M. (2011), Córki dancingu (2015), Podatek od miłości (2017), and Ciemno, prawie noc (2019).
Beyond acting, Gąsiorowska has built a multifaceted career. She is the author of fashion collections including Amor Amor, 7 Grzechów, and Stygmaty, and founded the clothing brand Natinaf, which earned her a nomination for the Róża Gali award in 2011.
