Early life and education

Saritha, a renowned actress, is also known simply as Saritha. She entered this world on June 7, 1960, under the name Abhilasha, in the beautiful village of Munipalle, located in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Growing up, she shared many cherished memories with her younger sister, Viji Chandrasekhar, who also pursued a career in acting.

Saritha, who grew up in a Telugu family, had the opportunity to attend school and college in Guntur. Throughout her educational journey, her passion for acting and performing never wavered.
