Botlhale Boikanyo was born in Mahikeng, North West, South Africa, on May 23, 2001, to the family of Lebong Boikanyo and Mumsy Boikanyo.

She is the firstborn child, and she has two other siblings.

She became interested in poetry when she was just 6 years of age, and she was already writing and reciting poems.
