Tim Godfrey (born 26 August 1979), full named Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey is a talented Nigerian gospel musician.

The superstar was born on the 26th August 1979 in Kaduna State as the second son of six children.

He hails from Abia State, but he grew up in Kaduna State with his family.

The superstar is a music director, conference speaker, voice instructor, producer, instrumentalist, presenter, music and art training consultant, musical concert clinician, and writer.

He started music in 2004, and since then, he grew into one of the biggest gospel music stars in Africa.

He is the manager and founder of a gospel band called “Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme“, a Crew Christian musical group.

Early Life

This superstar, Tim Godfrey, started singing when he was a kid living in Kaduna.

He spent most of his days as a youth singing in his church choir in Kaduna.

Tim Godfrey officially joined the gospel music genre in 2004.

People see him as a Nigerian version of Tyre Tibbet and Kirk Franklin.

They focused more on evangelizing while they travelled places to perform Gospel concerts and shows all over Nigeria and Africa. In 2005, Tim Godfrey and his crew performed on the same stage with Sammie Okposo, Sunny Neji, Folake Omusen at the Kora Awards in South Africa. Then in 2006, they performed at the Ghana Music Awards and toured five American States. A UK-based music Company organized the tour “Set Him off Music Ministries“.

The annually fearless Worship Concert was started In 2017 by the crew. In the same year, He bought cars worth well over 20 million for his five most extended crew members. He did show solidarity and strength in Unity. The crew also went to the “Xperience”, a musical concert organized by “The Rock Cathedral” yearly. He has worked with Travis Greene (an American gospel musician), Nathaniel Bassey, and other well-known gospel artists.
