Pornsak Prajakwit (born October 14, 1982) is a gifted Singapore-based Thai-Chinese media personality who is a contracted artiste under Left Profile. He combines a career as an actor, DJ, entertainer, radio, and television personality.

He is multilingual, being able to speak Thai, Mandarin, Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese, English, and some Japanese. 

This helped Pornsak Prajakwit immensely in his hosting gigs, which included shows in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and China.

Early Life & Education

Pornsak Prajakwit was born on October 14th, 1982, in Bangkok, Thailand, to a Thai mother and a Chinese father. When he was five years old, his mother passed away. 

His father sent him to Singapore shortly after that, where he attended Northlight School, Clementi Town Secondary School, and Jurong Junior College. 

Pornsak Prajakwit reportedly struggled with English during his early years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Singapore Management University in 2004.

In June 2015, Pornsak Prajakwit obtained his bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

Personal Life

Although Pornsak Prajakwit has been in the public eye for many years, there is not much information about his personal life. Pornsak Prajakwit joined UFM 1003 as a full-time radio DJ after winning a contest held by Singapore Press Holdings. In 2007, he began working at Mediacorp as a television host.

He has anchored a variety of programs. He received the Star Awards’ Best Newcomer honor in 2007. After that, he was chosen as one of the Top 10 Most Popular Artists and was presented with the Coolest Rocket Award.

Pornsak Prajakwit developed an education lab for young children in addition to co-owning Porn’s Sexy Thai Food, a Thai restaurant. Jus Delish Group took up his eatery in December 2016 for a 69% share.

In 2017, he was invited by CCTV, China’s national broadcaster, to make a special appearance in their international debate competition program.

Pornsak Prajakwit has gotten 8 out of 10 Top 10 Popular Male Artistes from 2009, 2011, 2013-2015, 2017-2019, and 2021 respectively. He left Mediacorp on January 31st, 2021, and joined Michelle Chong‘s artiste management agency.
