Distancing himself from his former name, he adopted Frank Buyanga, his father’s name, in 2009. Martha Gorogodo is his mother, while his father is Frank Buyanga Sr.

Educationally, Frank Buyanga holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of North London and pursued theology studies at the Pocim College of Leadership.

Career

Frank Buyanga embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at 18, establishing Summit Trade while residing in the United Kingdom. Summit Trade specializes in agricultural products, particularly sugar.

Utilizing the profits from Summit Trading, Buyanga ventured into his second business, Ferco Trading Ltd., focusing on exporting and importing products ranging from automobile spare parts to television sets, with West African countries as its primary market.

Diversifying his investments in the UK, he engaged in various enterprises, including a pound shop, a garage, and a mortgage and financial consulting agency. In 2005, Frank Buyanga returned to Zimbabwe to establish a corporate conglomerate with interests spanning the construction sector, property investment, microfinance, insurance, and assurance in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa.

Amid accusations of defrauding over 45 individuals in Zimbabwe through his business, Hamilton Property Holdings, Buyanga relocated to South Africa in 2011. The previous year, he stepped down as the director of Hamilton Property Holdings, citing sudden interest from the Zimbabwean Central Bank (RBZ) and law enforcement in his business.
