Early Life

Ezra Olubi was born on the 12th of November, 1986 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He grew up in the Southwestern part of Nigeria. At some period of time, the Yoruba-speaking prodigy exuded a noticeable level of brilliance and was known by many in his neighborhood.

He went ahead to become one of the leading entrepreneurs in the IT sector alongside his close friend, Shola Akinlade.

Education

Upon completion of his secondary school education, Ezra Olubi got admitted into Babcock University to study Computer Science, graduating in 2006 with a Degree in the discipline.

Ezra Olubi worked as an IT administrator at Business Management Consultant Limited, after graduating from Babcock University. Not long after, North Ocean Logistic and Solutions Limited reached out to him and appointed him as a Web App Developer under its firm.

He was also the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Jobberman and Delivery Science before being made the Director of Magic at Alexander Haring Limited.

Ezra Olubi teamed up with Shola Akinlade to establish PayStack, an online payment platform in 2015. However, his big break came when World Stripe, an accomplished online payment system, reached out to the duo to acquire PayStack in October 2020.

The deal saw Ezra Olubi and Shola Akinlade rack up the sum of $200,000,000 for their platform and launch them into the limelight in the IT sect.
